Chapter 362: Customization
Chapter 362: Customization
Initially, Michael was looking for something, maybe a setup that could be installed into a building, which was quite an advanced concept.
He thought about the possibility of simulations, and if there was a possibility of creating an environment that would continuously put pressure on someone in real life.
Even those projections, he did not want something virtual. Instead, he thought, could there be a possibility of getting something that would be experienced in real life, having a real life impact?
This was why he searched through the system, and eventually, he found what he was looking for. It was just that, it was not at the level that he wanted.
But just as he was about to complete the purchase of the equipment that he had previously selected, he received the notification from the system that surprised him.
[The host can customize an item within the system store, if the particular item that the host wants does not exist.
But, the host must know that all the items that are customized by the host should exist in a science fiction concept, or could be developed after several years of development within this world.]
Even though there were some restrictions, Michael was more than happy. At the same time, he wondered, why did the system never inform him about the availability of this function?
Despite his thought, he did not receive a response from the system as usual.
Regardless, Michael fell into a moment of contemplation. Initially, he had just been looking for something that fell into his requirements.
But now, since he could create what he was looking for without much worry, he had to think about something that would fit his conditions.
Therefore, it took quite a few minutes, before he finally managed to finalize on the concept that had appeared in his mind.
Starting off, it would be the training chamber itself. According to what Michael had thought about, this chamber would be conceived as a compact installation core capable of merging with an existing building instead of requiring a completely new structure.
This was simply because Michael thought that building a new building would take quite a lot of time. Additionally, if he used another building, how long would it take to alter it?
While he had the telekinesis ability that would allow him to be able to do things efficiently, with such a speed of renovation, would there are not be any questions raised by people that would see it?
Additionally, he was thinking about establishing something that he would be able to take it away with him if he moved. And very soon, he would be going to the capital.
Therefore, he had to consider that as well. Which was why he came up with this concept, though, he was not really sure if the system would allow that.
In theory, once activated, the core would rapidly spread through the interior using programmable matter, nano construction systems, and adaptive machinery, reshaping the inside of the building within seconds.
From the outside, the structure would still appear unchanged, whether it was a villa, warehouse, or ordinary hall. However, the interior would be completely transformed into an advanced superhuman training chamber filled with gravity systems, combat platforms, climate controls, adaptive AI, and recovery units far beyond the current technology.
After finalizing this concept, of which he suddenly received a notification from the system, implying that this concept could be applied, Michael shifted his focus to the features of the training chamber.
Since he was customizing this, he decided that this chamber would be putting Kate into consideration.
With the fact that she had a grade SSS ability, Michael related it to his own advanced telekinesis ability. Therefore, no matter what type of equipment that could be found within the chamber, it had to be capable of handling Kate’s rate of improvement.
Maybe, for now, she might only be able to deal with weights of around 100 kg or maybe a little bit more than that. But over time, she would definitely be strong enough to be able to deal with weights over a ton.
And there was a great possibility that he might be able to reach the same limit as himself, which was 15,000 tons.
This was why Michael put in so much thought when it came to the equipment that would be included within the chamber.
And the customization that he had just made, it would make the training chamber to be filled with terrifying machines, each one designed to push the body far beyond human limits while forcing constant adaptation.
With the finalization of his customization, on the screen in front of him, Michael could see the display of the training chamber.
Near the center of the room stood the Magnetic Strength Platforms, dark metal plates built directly into the floor, walls, and ceiling. Thin blue lines glowed across their surface whenever they activated.
Instead of normal weights, the platforms used magnetic force fields to create resistance. At their lowest setting, the pressure felt equal to 100 kg, but at maximum output, the system could exceed 30,000 tons of force.
Every movement became heavier the stronger the user grew, forcing the muscles, bones, and tendons to adapt continuously.
Along one side of the chamber stretched the Speed Acceleration Track, a black lane fitted with kinetic propulsion systems beneath the floor. White light strips ran across its edges like flowing energy.
The track could begin at only 30 km/h, but its maximum speed exceeded Mach 3, which was equivalent to an astonishing 3704.4 km/h.
Magnetic pressure fields could either assist movement or violently resist it, allowing the user to train acceleration, movement control, and reaction speed under impossible conditions.
Above and around the chamber were dozens of floating devices known as the Agility and Reflex Grid. Small black drones hovered in the air while hidden projectors covered the room with moving targets, laser markers, and shifting pathways.
The floor itself could split apart, tilt, or rise into unstable platforms within seconds. Attack speed could begin at normal human reaction levels, then rise until the drones moved faster than bullets.
The system constantly changed patterns to sharpen reflexes, coordination, balance, and combat movement.
Built into the walls were large circular emitters called the Endurance Suppression System. These machines flooded the chamber with controlled stress.
Gravity could rise from 1G to over 20G, oxygen levels could drop close to near-vacuum conditions, and temperatures could shift from 150°C heat to −120°C cold.
Violent wind pressure above 300 km/h could also be generated inside the chamber. The purpose of the system was not simply to exhaust the body, but to force it to keep functioning while under overwhelming strain.
Near the rear section of the room were several black metallic chairs fitted with neural cables and spinal links. These were the Reaction Compression Systems.
Thin silver wires connected the chairs directly to helmets resting above them. Once activated, the system accelerated perception speed and neural processing, making combat appear slower to the user while the brain itself operated at extreme speed.
At maximum output, the nervous system could process information several times faster than a normal human brain.
Hidden behind armored wall panels, there were the Impact Resistance Forges. When activated, heavy kinetic emitters released controlled strikes, shock waves, and pressure bursts against the user’s body.
The force could begin weak enough to leave bruises, but advanced levels produced impacts strong enough to crack reinforced steel. Repeated exposure forced adaptation in muscle density, bone durability, organ protection, and pain resistance.
The most dangerous system inside the chamber was the Adaptive Combat Mode. Once activated, every machine inside the room linked together under a central AI.
Gravity, heat, cold, pressure, speed, drones, terrain changes, and neural stress could all activate at the same time. The chamber itself became hostile, continuously evolving alongside the user. The stronger the user adapted, the more brutal the environment became in response.
Near the far wall rested the chamber’s recovery systems. Rows of transparent pods filled with pale blue fluid formed the Cellular Recovery Tanks. Nano repair agents floated inside the liquid, capable of repairing torn muscles, fractured bones, damaged nerves, and internal injuries.
Beside them were the High-Density Nutrient Injectors, silver machines fitted with injection arms and nutrient cartridges. Each cartridge contained energy equal to dozens of full meals, allowing the body to recover from the terrifying energy consumption caused by rapid adaptation.
Everything inside the chamber was built around one purpose, to force endless evolution through overwhelming pressure, while giving the body just enough support to survive the process.
For ordinary people, they would definitely not be able to maximize the usage of this training chamber. But for Kate, Michael believed that she would be capable of using it to enhance herself.
Some of the things within the training chamber could be extremely cruel, which Michael gritted his teeth in order to include them.
He really did not want to see Kate suffering, but unfortunately, there was nothing that he could do. If she really wanted to get stronger, she had to undergo this.
If there was a probability of her being able to gain another ability, Michael would not hesitate to give her the serum that would allow her to gain another ability that granted her immediate strength.
As for why he gave her this ability in the first place, it was simply because that was what she wanted.
Back when he asked her, if she did not give him a response, he would have decided on his own, on what ability he would give her.
