The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 137

Chapter 137

137 Future Plan

*yawn*

“If you’re sleepy, you can sleep first.” Kyle remembered that when he was still a kid, his mother would also make him take a nap in the afternoon. After all, a kid needed more sleep than an adult.

“No.” Kate refused.

Even though her body was that of a four to five years old girl, her mind was already an adult. She knew that her way of thinking had been regressing somewhat, but it didn’t change the fact that her mental age was already 21.

She didn’t want to be treated like a little kid and being left not knowing anything about the world.

“Alright.” Kyle looked at the stubborn little cat girl and didn’t force her. He looked at his father who had taken a seat and unceremoniously also sat down right in front of the other party. “What do you want to ask, Father?”

“The higher up had already sent a message that they will send people to deal with these giant mutated ants.” General Ryan glanced at Kyle. “Do you want to participate and watch the show?”

“Yes.” Kyle nodded. “These giant mutated ants are too smart. They even know how to trap people by using their complicated nest. It’ll be necessary for people to find wind elemental awakened to be able to make the map. The map that Dylan draw is incomplete. When we dig towards the research institute, we didn’t consider the location anymore.”

“Alright.” General Ryan was helpless at his son. He rubbed his forehead. “These giant mutated ants are getting smarter. It would not be as easy to deal with them as it used to be in the past.”

.....

“We’ll adapt one way or another as we have done in the past.”

At this time, Kyle was unconcerned. In his opinion, even if these giant mutated ants reached rank 5, there will be humans who would also reach rank 5. Also that Mr. Yuri was acclaimed as the strongest person and definitely not lacking in gems at all.

Kyle wouldn’t believe that under such circumstances, Mr. Yuri wouldn’t be able to reach rank 5.

If he truly couldn’t, then he was truly useless.

“Alright, you can rest for the day. Little Kitty is already feeling sleepy.” General Ryan pointed at Kate.

Kate was indeed feeling sleepy. The full feeling and also the fact that her space kept on absorbing more and more of these crystals just made her felt comfortable. So comfortable that what she wanted was simply to fall asleep on the spot.

“I’ll put you on the bed, ok?” Kyle asked in a low and coaxing tone.

Kate glanced at Kyle and tilted her head, considering his words. Even though she wanted to know more about their plan, she felt that her small body was indeed very uncooperative. In the end, Kate nodded and with a poof, she turned into a little cat again.

This time, the cat was sleeping.

“This heartless little one.” Kyle looked at Kate helplessly, but there was a hint of doting within his eyes when he looked at his little cat.

In front of him, General Ryan naturally noticed this and felt silent. He felt that his son should actually find someone to get married before having a child. However, he ended up throwing the matter to the back of his mind.

Kate didn’t bother with it. She jumped to the floor and changed form into that of a little girl before walking to the door. With her small hand, she could reach the knop as long as she tiptoe, so Kate pushed the door open.

She walked out and looked around curiously before heading towards the dining room. It was then she saw General Ryan put several bread on the table. He glanced at Kate and smiled warmly.

“Good morning, Little Kitty.”

“Good morning, Uncle.” Kate responded with a bright smile and then ran towards him. “What’s for breakfast?”

“Bread and butter. Do you want some sugar too?” General Ryan asked.

“Yes!” Kate nodded.

Seeing the cute little girl, General Ryan suddenly felt that the house was more lively than before. This caused a smile to form at the corner of his lips as he began to prepare some sugar for the little cat.

Tep! Tep!

Kyle walked to the dining room and saw the little cat that was busy applying some butter into her bread. He smiled faintly and took the knife from her. “Little Kitty, this is how you hold a knife.”

“I know.” Kate pouted.

But her short fingers didn’t allow her to hold the knife properly, so she could only clasp it tightly.

“Let me help you.” Kyle laughed and then applied the butter before handing the bread to Kate.

“Sugar.” Kate pointed at the sugar.

Kyle arched his eyebrows but he still picked the sugar and added them on top of the bread. With it, Kate happily at the bread in her hand, tasting the sweetness of sugar within the bread.

While Kate was happily eating her breakfast, Kyle also served himself with some breads because he was hungry. On the other hand, General Ryan was watching the two of them as the smile on his face turned wider.

It was truly a cute and warm sight.

The breakfast ended pretty soon and Kyle departed with his father to the military base. Due to the request of his father, Kyle had no other choice but to wear military uniform while Kate was held in his arm as always.

When he reached there, he saw Jake who had a bitter face beside his father and mother.

“You’re forced to come?” Kyle asked.

“Yeah. I have told them that I’m tired after fighting with who knows how many giant mutated ants before, but they didn’t listen and dragged me here.” Jake sighed deeply.

Kyle could only patted Jake’s shoulder. “That’s just how it is. At the very least, you will be able to participate in the battle again. These giant mutated ants might even miss you quite a lot.”

Jake rolled his eyes. Who would miss those giant mutated ants?

In his opinion, it didn’t matter who dealt with these giant mutated ants as long as he didn’t have to see them again in his entire life. It was just unfortunate that his father had a completely different opinion and dragged him here to help with the extermination of these giant mutated ants.
