298 Kate’s Father and Kyle’s Talk

“You can stay here and wait.” Kate’s Father pointed at the sofa while he himself went to the kitchen to take a glass of coffee. It was still early in the morning and if not because he himself had some research he wanted to do, he might not want to wake up this early either.

Kyle nodded and took a seat.

He had been making concession with Kate’s Father. After all, he wanted to take the other party’s daughter’s hand. It would be better to have good relationship in advance so that he could spend more time with Kate.

Kate’s Father returned to the living room with a cup of coffee.

“Are you planning on staying idle in City E in the future?” Kate’s Father suddenly asked.

“Probably not, Father in law. But if you’re worried about Kate, I’ll pay more attention to her safety,” Kyle replied with a smile.

Hearing the way Kyle called him, Kate’s Father was itching to punch Kyle once more. He felt that he hadn’t beaten up this annoying brat enough when he first met with the other party after confirming that Little Kitty is Kate back then.

He glared at Kyle.

He would just make a shot if it was necessary. After all, he didn’t want to be controlled by others again and wanted to make this City E the peaceful place where he could stay with his little wife.

“I see. Why did you want to find Kate so early in the morning?”

“There will be representative from White Family coming today. He or she asked for Black Group to be present.” Kyle shrugged.

He didn’t want to be present if he had to be honest. But this can also become an extremely good excuse for him to take Kate away and spend more time with her.

Kate’s Father could see through Kyle’s reasoning and wanted to scold this man again.

At this moment, he really didn’t know whether it was a good thing for his daughter to get close with Kyle or not. If he had to say, he would rather find a son in law who was not so troublesome like Kyle.

He could only sigh.

Though, for Kyle, it was more than enough. He could definitely rebuild the necessary machine with Dylan’s help.
