Lucy also covered her face and felt that she should have checked her almanac before going out. It would be better for her to go to see her younger brother and beat him up again rather than watching the show of dog food in front of her.
Lucas, who was chatting happily with Lica in the research institute, suddenly shivered. He looked around him, wondering what kind of accident did his sister experience for her to want to beat him up again?
“Don’t you also want chocolate, Lucy?” Lotte asked curiously.
“No, I don’t really like sweets.” Lucy waved her hand. Perhaps it was because of her habits and training since she was young that she was not used to eat anything that sweet.
She would rather eat a lot of oily food rather than sweets.
“Oh.” Kate nodded, not surprised.
When she was in the university, she bought some snacks from time to time. She herself liked to eat various types of cakes and sweets while Lucy would buy some oily snacks. The two of them have different taste but still shared their snacks occasionally.
After all, it was fine if it was occasional.
“But it has been a while since we eat sweets.” Lotte licked her fingers and clicked her tongue, tasting the chocolate carefully.
.....
Beside her, Jake was watching and felt that he was really thirsty suddenly. He took a deep breath and forced himself to look away so that he would not show his disgraceful side to other people.
“Wang!”
“It’s a sweet snack.” Marc was already stepping away from the others. He felt that the more he stayed with the Black Group, the more dog food he would get. It was so miserable.
“Wang?”
“No.” Marc looked at his dog speechlessly. When did he like to eat sweet snacks?T/his chapter is updated by
Also, it was usually expensive and as a person who had poor background, Marc naturally didn’t have interest to cultivate his hobby to eat something luxurious. That would put a burden on his wallet.
“Wipe your mouth. You’re like a kid.” Kyle chuckled and handed tissue to Kate.
“The distance to City C is quite far. We will have to take frequent break in between.” Kyle looked at the front calmly. He continued without looking at Dylan, “And you can train Alisa during the break time.”
“Ok.” Dylan nodded.
“Hey, do you really need a tutor to practice these elements?” Lucy asked, not really understanding why they had to have a teacher. She felt that she could train by herself as long as she kept on fighting those giant mutated animals.
“Some people can do it themselves, but there are also others who need help.” Lotte shrugged. “And because we’re all mostly first generation of awakened, it’s hard to find someone who can teach us systematically.”
Lucy thought about it and nodded.
Kate was half sleeping while listening to the others. Her form as a cat still made her require sleep from time to time, so she was not exactly active in the conversation.
She yawned. “Learning systematically is good for the future generations.”
“You’re right.” Lotte thought about it and nodded. Her parents were professors, so she knew the importance of knowledge.
“Let’s stop here.”
“Yes.”
They prepared their camp while Dylan walked to a separate area from them with Alisa.
“You need to control your water element with calm mind.” Dylan looked at Alisa calmly.
“Calmly?” Alisa asked.
“Just let it flow. Don’t force it.” Dylan played with the water on his hand. Every element required different type of approach in accordance to their personality and the element’s characteristic. He felt that it was easy for him because he was not exactly an emotional person.
For him, the water and ice element were part of peaceful and calm. As long as he kept himself cool, he could control them easily.
But of course, the speed would depend on practice.
It was impossible for him to become an expert instantly.
Alisa took a deep breath and nodded. She adjusted her mood and began to train again, controlling the water element on her hand.
